Today, it was really cold outside so I went into the house again. MLIA

Today, I had a boxing day Christmas party with my entire family. We usually walk around the tree or have quizes. This year my mother's 40 year old cousin, her husband and their daughter performed an extremely energetic dance to "You can't stop the beat" from Hairspray. They then made the whole family learn it. MLIA

Today, I decorated my Christmas tree. I couldn't decide on whether to put funky deco or traditional red and gold. I now have a half 'n half tree that I can turn around according to my mood, and instead of a star there is a pirate hook. Best tree ever. MLIA

Yesterday, my boyfriend's brother blew his cold porridge before eating it. We still don't know why he did that, but it was an epic moment. MLIA

Sunday, my friend decided to get dreadlocks. We started 11.30 in the morning and ended up pulling an all nighter in some random hippie guys apartment to get it all done. Tops the random experiences list atm. MLIA

Saturday, I went christmas shopping all day long. When I was done I lay all the presents out on the floor and took a picture of it. I felt accomplished. MLIA

Friday, I bought a new toothbrush. The handle is shaped like the body of a cat, it has a protecting cap shaped like a cat head and it's all bright pink. I was so happy, I skipped all the way home from the store. MLIA

Thursday, while baking cookies I asked my american friend if they do pinky swear in the U S, to which she replied that not only do they do pinky swear, they also do pinky kiss and pinky blow. Obviously I had to ask how you do a pinky blow and we both started laughing at my perverted mind. While laughing my friend asked me if I could give her some milk. Since she had her hands full of dough I held the glass to her mouth but she was laughing to hard to be able to drink from it. When I therefore took the glass away she shouts "Ok, ok I promise I'll swallow!" That's what she said. MLIA

Tuesday, I had a meeting with my coordinator that doesn't like me. The meeting took a while so I was already late for work when we were done. I decided to walk to work which means I would be two hours late instead of one. Halfway there I run into my coordinator who took a taxi home. I have a feeling she hates me even more now. MLIA

Monday, I was taking a bus back from a weekendtrip when the bus broke down. They said they would fix it but they didn't, so I got off and took another bus. MLIA

Today, I was working on my home exam paper all day. Suddenly my mum knocked on the door and gave me 3 bags of pirate balloons and 5 bags of gold chocolate coins. I'm glad she knows what's important to get her 19 year old daughter through journalism school. MLIA

Today, I dressed up in traditional peruvian clothes. I still looked like a gringo. MLIA

Today, I got Snow White and the seven dwarves on 2 disc Disney DVD special edition with restored sound and picture. My life is complete. MLIA

Today, I went to a three year olds birthday party. He had five different cakes, a pinata, popcorn, jello, water fountain and a really hot dad. I'm jealous. MLIA

Today, at work, I spent 4 hours making bracelets, having a roaring competition and teaching the receptionist how to ask for where to find hot guys in english. Workday well spent. MLIA

Saturday, I went sandboarding which is pretty much snowboarding on sand. Today I'm facinated that I'm still finding sand hidden in unexpected places. MLIA

Today, I read MLIAs to my 10 year old brother, and came over the one with the positive pregnancy test being the scariest thing a girl knew for halloween. He now want's to dress up like that next year, and preceded to show me how he would make a digital screen around his face saying "positive". I'm mildly concerned. MLIA

Today, me and my friend went to a halloween party dressed as a two headed genetically modified mutant strawberry. We went around catching people under our frock and made them dance with us to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles song. It was the highlight of the party. I love college. MLIA

Today, a boy came up to me asking if I wanted to buy finger puppets. At first I said no, but then i saw that he had Spiderman and Sponge Bob puppets. Guess who's having a deep conversation with her fingers this afternoon. MLIA

Today, while submitting a story to MLIA, i noticed the confirming words you have to type at the end read "tasted his". I have never been so curious in my life. MLIA

Today, while sitting in the main plaza of the city me and my friend made a sign that said "NO GRACIAS". All the salespeople who came up to us saw the sign, laughed and went away. Success. MLIA

Today, I had eye surgery. They took one eye at the time, and waiting for the next one was painful and boring until I realized I could pretend to be a pirate. Waiting has never been so fun. MLIA

Today, while walking around some Inka ruins a peruvian lady came up to me and asked if she could take a picture of me and her 10 years old son together. Of course I said yes to this weird request and suddenly I have a line of 20 kids and their parents wanting to take their picture with me. The fact that they found me more interesting then the almost 1000 years old Inka ruins still confuses me. MLIA

Yesterday, while in the center with my friend and the guy she's dating, my friend said she had to go to the supermarked to buy feminine stuff. I waited outside with her guy when he suddenly leaned in and said knowingly; I bet she's buying chocolate. I love boys. MLIA

Today, I was lying in bed when I heard some noises from downstairs. I opened my eyes to try and hear it better. I still don't know why I did that. MLIA

Today, I spent the last money in my wallet on chocolate pancakes with ice cream. No regrets whatsoever. MLIA

Today, we had fish for dinner, and my ten year old brother started telling us about how cod is in danger of being extinct. He elaborated on this referring to his last year science book, and ended the speech with "That's why I don't eat cod". We let him skip the fish for his cleverness. Today, I turned the heat down while frying an egg as I had learned the day before. But then it didn't fry so i turned the heat up again. MLIA

Today, I e-mailed a professor at a university to get some information for a news article I'm writing for journalism school. He sent me an essay in german. That's a bummer. MLIA

Today, I was looking for presents for my friend Alex's birthday. I went to a lot of stores only to end up in the children's section in a book store. I bought him a book called Makka Pakka: Let's wash faces. It is basically about some creepy doll going around washing his friends with a sponge. I think he will be happy. MLIA

Today, I found out that in the city I live in there's one single factory. Guess what this factory produces? Beer! I love Cuzco. MLIA

Today, at work I noticed my sweater was inside-out. 2 seconds ago I read that my friend had the same experience at school today. I feel like we're connecting on a whole new level. MLIA

Yesterday it was my birthday and I got the best birthday gift ever; a MLIA post that said happy birthday. MLIA

Today, I got my new credit card in the mail. It has my picture on the front wearing a pirate eye patch, gold earring and a princess tiara, rawring to the camera like a dinosaur. I can't wait to spend money now. MLIA

Today, I bought pear juice. As I've never tasted it before, I was super excited as to how it would taste. It tasted like pear. I still don't understand why I didn't see that coming. MLIA

Today, my boyfriend came to see me at the café where I'm working. Not only did he bring 3 of his best friends, but it turned out they had bought matching suits and raybans in green, purple, red and yellow. Everybody in the café was amazed and were laughing of them sipping their tea. And I got tipped three times more than usual because I told everyone the green one was my boyfriend. MLIA

Last night, I found out that if you get really drunk, it's hard to tell which house you live in. I also discovered that if you loose your wallet, but give the taxi driver your phone instead, he'll let you pay him the day after. MLIA

Recently, I've been checking out dining tables for my flat. I came over I nice one, but thought it was too expensive. Later, I checked it again and saw the table's name was "Tequila".  I'm getting that table as soon as possible. MLIA

Today, I saw a bus in town with a big Batman sticker in front. I'm now convinced that Batman is hiding in Cuzco, Peru, and has a batmobus instead of a batmobile. MLIA

Yesterday, my flight number was 077. I've never felt more like a secret agent in my life. MLIA

Today, I ate a coco bun, but felt sick before I finished it. I put the rest in the plastic bac it came in and accidentally squeezed. The white coco came out of the air holes in the bag and made perfect tiny curls. I licked them off and squeezed again. New favorite hobby. MLIA

Today, I dropped my phone on the ground. It didn't break. MLIA

Today, I noticed that the first listed ingredient of my favorite spice, "lemon-pepper", is salt. MLIA

Today, when I was eating breakfast I discovered that parts of my scrambled eggs were green. It tasted the same though. MLIA

Today, my tour guide showed me a view and told me it was one of the most visited views in the country. All I could see was trees, trees and more trees. I said Wow! It's beautiful! took a picture and pretended to understand why it was the most visited view in the country. MLIA

Today, my mum called me from downstairs. I was reading MLIA so i was a bit busy, and thought she wanted me to do the dishes or something. Turns out she wanted me to take a photo of her outside so she could change her facebook profil photo. Awesome mum. MLIA

Today, I saw two guys in the cafeteria that had brought squeezy jam tubes so they could squeeze fresh jam on their lunch bread. I was so jealous I stared at them for almost a minute. Then they air cheered me with the tube. Guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow?

Today I found out my volunteer placement has been moved to a city in Peru called Cuzco. I am now superexited about meeting talking lamas. MLIA

Yesterday, I took off my glasses preparing to go to bed. As my bedroom lamp isn't working atm, I had to go out in the living-room to turn off the light I had on there. For a moment I stopped, worried about finding my way back to my bed without my glasses on. Then I realized it would be dark anyways. MLIA

Today, we had a group assignment at school. We decided to write it in rhymes. Best group ever. MLIA

Today, I was sure I put 3 different chocolates in my pocket. When I came upstairs, two of them were the same type. I'm now unsure whether I'm going senile or have magic powers. I'm hoping for the last. MLIA

Today, I'm babysitting my brother and the two neighbor kids over at their house. My mum told me I could look forward to spending some time by myself quietly on the sofa as they were going to go to bed early. I didn't tell her that I'm planning on letting them stay up late because I've actually been looking forward to playing Mariocart with them for weeks. MLIA

Today, my sister's phone rang. She's got the pokemon theme song as her ringtone. When she was done talking I asked her to call me and showed her I've got the same tune. She told we she was inspired by MLIA. I now know why we're related. MLIA

Today, I found out that at my school there are purple footprints on the ground leading to the library. I spent my break following them, pretending to be hunting down a dinosaur track. I'll be going to the library a lot more often now. MLIA

Yesterday, I was at Venstres election party, when I got a text from my mom saying she saw me on TV. Apparently I just stood there and looked important. I feel smart. MLIA
